Puerto Rico state flag was designed using five equal horizontal stripes, three red and two white alternating. On the right side, you can see a blue triangle with a white star at its center. The flag, which consisted of five equal horizontal bands of red (top and bottom) alternating with white; a blue isosceles triangle based on the hoist side bears a large, white, five-pointed star in the center, was first flown in Puerto Rico on March 24, 1897. This flag is ideal for the low-wind area. The lightweight design allows the flag to fly in a mild breeze. However, outdoor use in super windy areas is not recommended. Our 3x5ft Durable Polyester Flag has header tape and 2 metal grommets.
